1st YEAR INTERNSHIP : SILK SCREEN WORKSHOP
During the 2022 summer, I made a 2 week Intership at "Papier gachette", a workshop of silk screen printing based in Starsbourg. I worked on a lot of things during this 2 weeks and it was very rewarding.
First, I started by making typographical composition with the numerous typographic sinkers available in the workshop.
Later that week, we went to a artistic summer festival which allow children to do artistic activities for free. We decided to let the children draw their face, their neighborhood and a world map as they think it is. It was really a good experience, especially when they finally saw the result of their drawing being printed !
The second week was dedicated to me, drawing what I wanted then printing it with the color I wanted. It was a good way to express my creativity and I really loved the silk screen process.
